The Gate & the Good Shepherd

In this passage, we will look at two things that Jesus says that he is. The first thing that Jesus says is that he is the gate to the Father's green pasture. The Gate or door is the first line of defense to the house and also the most welcoming. He is also the Good Shepherd that guides the sheep to abundant life. The Gate of God provides security, and the Good Shepherd guides us into a place freedom and life.
